MY APPEAL

My Fundraising AppealHelp Shape a Brighter Future for Young Care leavers under our Aftercare ProgramDear Supporters,As you know, turning 18 is a significant milestone for any young adult. However, it marks a daunting transition into adulthood for children in care homes. According to the Juvenile Justice Act, they must leave the care homes when they reach this age, often before they are fully prepared to navigate life's challenges independently. This is where our Aftercare Program steps in, providing a crucial bridge to self-reliance for young adults aged 18 to 21 who are leaving institutional care.• A Stepping-Stone towards Self-RelianceMany of these young adults have faced incredible hardships, including late starts in their education and a lack of formal schooling. The Aftercare Program is dedicated to easing their journey into adulthood by offering continuous rehabilitative services and accommodation options in community, group, or scattered housing. Our goal is to equip them with the skills and confidence needed to integrate successfully into society.• Easing the financial burdenThrough our Aftercare Program, these youngsters can access secure, free housing, alleviating the financial stress that often hinders their progress. We provide monetary support, enabling them to pursue professional or vocational education that aligns with their interests and aptitudes. Additionally, we offer stipends during their vocational training until they gain employment, ensuring they can focus on building a stable future.• Avoiding pitfallsRecognizing the vulnerabilities these young adults face, we offer continuous mentoring, counselling, and training to shield them from common pitfalls such as substance abuse, psychological issues, credit problems, unemployment, and homelessness. Our comprehensive support system helps them develop into socially responsible adults with strong ethics, respect for diversity, and the ability to form healthy relationships.• Your Support Can Make a DifferenceWe invite you to join us in this critical mission to support young adults at a pivotal point in their lives. Your generous donation will provide essential resources, education, and guidance, empowering them to become self-reliant and confident members of society. By contributing to the Aftercare Program, you are not just offering financial assistance; you are investing in the future of these young individuals and, by extension, our community as a whole.DONATE TODAYPlease consider making a donation to the Aftercare Program. Every contribution, no matter the size, will profoundly impact the lives of these young adults. Together, we can provide them with the tools they need to build a brighter, more secure future.Thank you for your compassion and support. To support 1 Care leaver for 1 year• Support Food expenses of 1 Care leaver for 1 year = INR 36,000 • Support Accommodation expenses of 1 Care leaver for 1 year = INR 36,000 • Support expenses towards Vocational training and learning material for 1 Care Leaver= 20,000• Support to continue next level of education fee and stationery for 1 Care Leaver (from distance learning) = 8,000 • Monthly Allowance, Mobile recharge & Travel Allowance for 1 Care leaver for 1 Year = INR 20,000Comprehensive support 1 care leaver for 1 year = INR 1, 20,000/- To support 1 Care leaver for 1 Month• Support Food expenses of 1 Care leaver for 1 Month = INR 3,000/- • Support Accommodation expenses of 1 Care leaver for 1 Month = INR 3,000• Monthly Allowance, Mobile recharge & Travel Allowance for 1 Care leaver for 1 Month = INR 1700/-Comprehensive support 1 care leaver for 1 Month = INR 7,700/-I am targeting to raise funds for at least 12 care leavers for one year .Total amounting to 15 lacs.
