Hailing from the City of Joy, for the last 10 years I have been living and soaking myself in the saying 'Dilwalon ki Dilli'. A journalist turned marketeer and a brand communication person, running is what keeps me sane, happy and going when I'm not working, or simply need to destress. Couldn't help myself falling in love with running on the streets of Delhi for the last few years. As the city sleeps, a bunch of like-minded enthusiast runners hit the roads of this city. So do I. Running is discipline, showing up for myself, discipline, perseverance and freedom for me.
Run for Children's Safe Futures: Help Us Protect Children From Child Trafficking! Did you know, 8 children are trafficked in India every day? (Source: NCRB Report) Despite many efforts to stop it, the fight against child trafficking remains urgent and complicated. Therefore this year, I am running the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon to raise funds for CRY's critical work protecting children from trafficking through education. The Problem: In villages like Sarguja, poverty and lack of education leave children vulnerable. Traffickers exploit these situations, luring children away from their families with false promises. How CRY Fights Back: Getting children in school: They ensure children attend school, a safe space where they can learn and grow. Bridge Schools: For children who fell behind, CRY offers catch-up programs so they can succeed. Building Awareness: They educate parents and community leaders about child trafficking and its dangers. Your Donation Makes a Difference! Your contribution, big or small, will help me reach my goal and give children in Sarguja a brighter future. Here's how your donation can help: To provide educational materials for a child To help run a workshop for parents on child protection To support a month of bridge school for a child who fell behind Join me in making a difference! Donate today and help us end child trafficking!
A big thank you to all those who have donated on this page.
