MY APPEAL
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is a global, independent medical organization that helps people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or lack of healthcare. Our teams consist of thousands of health professionals, logistics experts, and administrative staff, mostly hired locally. We operate based on medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence, and neutrality. MSF currently has projects in 74 countries. In 2023, we conducted 16.5 million outpatient consultations, admitted 1.4 million patients, and treated 3.7 million malaria cases. In India, we provided 20,800 individual mental health consultations, treated 6,440 people for malaria, started 830 TB patients on treatment (770 for MDR-TB), and helped 640 survivors of sexual violence last year.
