MY APPEAL
Hi! My name is Neeru Bhatnagar and I am the Director of Delhi Council for Child Welfare, DCCW (PALNA). I have been working here for a while now. As someone who cares deeply about the welfare of children, I am reaching out to you with an appeal to support the Delhi Council for Child Welfare (DCCW).
The Delhi Council for Child Welfare (DCCW) is a registered non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1952. We began by providing care to children who were displaced, lost, or abandoned during the riots following the Partition of India. Today, our programs, across 15 centres, impact over 3,000 children daily, providing holistic development and offering opportunities for a brighter future.
Our programmes at our flagship centre in Janakpuri focus on empowering underprivileged and special children through Bal Chetna, Vocational Training Programme, Pre-school Education and Supervised Homework Scheme. We help young girls achieve financial independence, provide quality education to underprivileged children, and offer specialised therapies to children with special needs.
Unfortunately, the building had to be shut down and required reconstruction. This has created a significant operational and financial setback for us. We are working tirelessly towards overcoming this challenge.
To continue this vital work, we urgently need your support. Your generous contribution will directly impact countless children's lives, giving them the environment they need to thrive.
Please join us in this critical mission. Your support can help us build better facilities, nurture brighter futures, and create a lasting impact.
