Hi, I’m Akshat Jain, and I’m running 10 kilometers in the United Way Vedanta Delhi Marathon to support a cause close to my heart—bringing clean, accessible water to every Indian.

I’ve been involved with Srujna for the past 10 years, and this year, they’re leading a project to ensure clean water for communities across India. Running has always been a passion, but this time, every step is for a greater purpose.

MY APPEAL

Dear Supporter,

Over 16 crore Indians wake up every day without access to clean water—a reality we can change together. By running 10 kilometers in the United Way Vedanta Delhi Marathon, I’m supporting Srujna’s mission to bring safe drinking water to those in need.

Srujna, a non-profit organisation, is committed to empowering women by providing them with the necessary skills, market opportunities, and leadership training to achieve self-employment, employment, and entrepreneurship. With an emphasis on livelihood projects, healthcare for women, and education, Srujna seeks to advance full and productive employment, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and decent labour in line with Sustainable Development Goal 5 & 8.
