MY APPEAL
Help Shape a Brighter Future for Young Care leavers under Udayan Care's Aftercare Program
Dear Supporters,
As you know, turning 18 is a significant milestone for any young adult. However, it marks a daunting transition into adulthood for children in care homes. According to the Juvenile Justice Act, they must leave the care homes when they reach this age, often before they are fully prepared to navigate life's challenges independently. This is where our Aftercare Program steps in, providing a crucial bridge to self-reliance for young adults aged 18 to 21 who are leaving institutional care.
A Stepping-Stone Towards Self-Reliance
Many of these young adults have faced incredible hardships, including late starts in their education and a lack of formal schooling. The Aftercare Program is dedicated to easing their journey into adulthood by offering continuous rehabilitative services and accommodation options in community, group, or scattered housing. Our goal is to equip them with the skills and confidence needed to integrate successfully into society.
Your Support Can Make a Difference
I invite you to join me in this critical mission to support young adults at a pivotal point in their lives. Your generous donation will provide essential resources, education, and guidance, empowering them to become self-reliant and confident members of society. By contributing to the Aftercare Program, you are not just offering financial assistance; you are investing in the future of these young individuals and by extension, our community as a whole.
