ABOUT ME
I am running to raise funds for the Wayanad landslide victims for re building their houses, Schools, medical centers & various other things.
I’m Dr. Shama Mohamed, an Indian activist and dentist by profession. I’m deeply involved in various social causes and serve as the Trustee of the Zoya Charitable Trust (ZCT), a Kerala-based NGO dedicated to supporting underprivileged communities.
During the devastating Kerala Floods of 2018, I played an active role in the rehabilitation efforts. I visited relief camps, interacted with survivors, and helped distribute aid materials to those in need. I traveled extensively across Kerala to engage with people, especially women and children, to understand their concerns and work on finding solutions.
In addition to my activism, I’ve also been active in sports. I’m a gold medalist in the inter-school 100 and 200 meter dash. Through ZCT, we’ve organized several eye camps, providing free prescription glasses and cataract surgeries. We’ve also funded higher education for children from below-poverty-line families with outstanding academic records and donated a children’s playground. Currently, ZCT is working on constructing a house for two elderly women in need.
