I am a development professional and management graduate with more than 20 years of experience managing programs and facilitating research in the health and education domains at international organizations like UNICEF, CARE, Plan International, PATH, Ecorys Nederland BV and others. Currently I am working with United Way of Delhi. In addition to managing INGO operations with multidisciplinary teams and leading projects as a program person, I have also been engaged in liaison and networking with Government departments. As a professional, I had the chance to participate in short-term advanced training at international platforms such as Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early childhood in Singapore and SIDA in Stockholm, Sweden.
Dear friends, I am participating in the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon this year in a different way- I am using it to raise money for the Samriddhi Project and SVASTI, two leading projects run by United Way Delhi. SVASTI is a great initiative of United Way of Delhi to extend support to the school children and rural women in communities by focusing on their mental health and emotional well-being, something that often gets overlooked. The Samriddhi project aims to uplift and support women from disadvantaged communities so they can work and provide support for their family. We can bring about long-lasting change for entire communities by uplifting these women and children. The Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon offers the opportunity to truly impact lives rather than just compete. Your assistance, in the form of donations or referrals, can help these women and children feel hopeful. I am thankful to all of you for being here for me on this journey! Best, Anup
A big thank you to all those who have donated on this page.
