Hello!

Joining the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon is my way of giving back to the community. I’m dedicated to making a positive impact, and I’d really appreciate your support on this journey. Together, we can bring hope to those in need.

I’m Aaqib Hamid, and I work as a Campaign Strategist and Journalist with over four years of experience at organizations like Uvaach Advisory Pvt Ltd and Design Boxed.

I completed my M.Phil in Media & Communication Studies and my Master’s in Digital Media Communication from Punjabi University, Patiala.

Though I was born in Qazigund, Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, I currently live in Delhi. You can find me writing about social, political, and economic issues for Kashmir Reader and Kashmir Horizon.

SVASTI: Helping Children Find Hope and Happiness SVASTI is a special program dedicated to the mental well-being of children in schools and rural areas. Many kids face challenges that can make it hard for them to feel happy and succeed in life. SVASTI provides them with the support they need to feel safe and supported. Your donation can help bring this support to even more children who need it.

Samriddhi Project: Empowering Women for a Better Life The Samriddhi Project is all about helping women from poor and disadvantaged backgrounds. This program gives them the tools and training they need to improve their lives and provide better futures for their families. By supporting Samriddhi, you’re helping these women gain the skills and confidence they need to create a better life.

United Way Delhi (UWD) since 2008, is working actively to advance the ‘common good’ for local community through innovative interventions and partnerships. Our programs are based on the ‘Life-Cycle approach’. We aspire to improve lives by addressing local priority issues, creating lasting impact and implementing diverse engagement and resource mobilization under various domains, including Early Childhood, Education, Financial Stability, Health, Environment, and Disaster Response.
