The Ashish Foundation for Differently Abled Charitable Trust (ASHISH FOUNDATION) aims to create a supportive environment that empowers individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. By addressing various aspects such as education, healthcare, employment, and community integration, the project seeks to enhance quality of life and promote inclusivity. VISION Empowering children and adults with autism to rise to their God given potential in inclusive communities. MISSION Sensitising and equipping families, communities and organizations to respond and engage productively so that children and adults with autism lead fulfilling lives. It is also one of few organisations applying Social Role Valorisation (SRV) principles in India which emphasizes on importance of enabling marginalized groups, such as people with disabilities, to participate fully in society and assume valued social roles. Ashish Foundation through its work has reached more than 2797 beneficiaries.
Ashish Foundation for the Differently Abled Charitable Trust, is a non-profit organization in Dwarka, West Delhi. We were established in 2007 to serve children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. We work to achieve a world where students with autism and other developmental disabilities are included and respected as a part of the community through our various programmes. The vulnerabilities experienced by students with autism and other disabilities and their parents go far beyond their physical and developmental limitations. Not only is there a lack of quality services but also societal stigmas which lead to further isolation. Therefore, to make a difference in their lives we aim to raise funds for their specific needs. You can help us with: • Sponsor one child from low-income group family studying at Ashish Centre (which includes education and therapies) with INR 16,500/month • Sponsor one adult from low-income group family attending vocational training at Ankur (which includes vocational training and therapies) with INR 17,500/month • Sponsor cost of safe transportation for one student of Ashish Centre (with attendant) at INR 6400/month • Contribute to building rent to run Ashish Centre and Ankur at INR 25,000 /month which includes running costs of water, electricity, lift and maintenance costs • Contribute to organizing social learning activities for 40 children and adults at Ashish Centre and Ankur at INR 10,000 /month Your generous contribution can help us in building the future of children and adults with autism and other disabilities to reach their full potential.
