OUR APPEAL
Support our mission to give 250 under privileged children a brighter future by helping us rebuild our largest centre!
Imagine the joy of having a family, education, financial security, and health—both mental and physical. For many underprivileged, special needs, and abandoned children, this joy is a distant dream. At the Delhi Council for Child Welfare (DCCW), a registered NGO started in 1952 during the Partition of India, we strive to make this dream a reality through its flagship program PALNA TM, adoption, pre-school education, supervised homework scheme, vocational training, rehabilitation and educational sponsorship.
Today, through our 15 centres in and around Delhi, we impact over 3,000 children daily, fostering holistic development and brighter futures.
In mid-2023, our Janakpuri centre, serving around 250 underprivileged children, was deemed unsafe due to severe structural damage. Consequently, we have undertaken the unprecedented challenge of demolishing and rebuilding the centre—a first since our establishment in 1952. Our aim: complete reconstruction within 18 months. Meanwhile, we have relocated the programmes to a nearby rental facility to ensure continued support to the benefeciaries. The centre empowers children through vocational training, pre-school education, supervised homework, and specialized care for special needs.
To continue this vital work, we urgently need your support. We aim to raise ₹25 lakhs for this project through the marathon. Your generous contribution will directly impact these children's lives, providing them the environment they need to thrive.
Join us in this critical mission. Your support can help us build better facilities, nurture brighter futures, and create a lasting impact.
