We at the Susmit Foundation are committed to transforming lives through our Integrated Food and Education initiative. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by ensuring that every child not only receives nutritious meals but also gains access to quality education. With your support, we aim to raise ₹10 lakhs to further our cause and expand our reach. Here's how your contribution will make a difference:
1. Integrated Food and Education
At Susmit Foundation, we believe that a hungry child cannot learn effectively. Our program ensures that children receive balanced, nutritious meals daily, which helps them stay healthy and focused on their studies.
2. Fundamental Learning and Numeracy
We prioritize fundamental learning and numeracy skills, setting a strong foundation for our children’s future education. Our curriculum is designed to make learning engaging and accessible, ensuring that every child can thrive academically. As per NEP report the core reason for high attrition is lack of FLN amongst children and our focused approach to align this objective is through our remedial classes.
3. Daily Classes and Corresponding Progress in Study
We conduct daily classes, carefully tracking each child's progress. Our dedicated teachers provide personalized attention, ensuring that students not only keep up with their studies but excel. Governance is the key objective.
4. Awareness in Health and Hygiene
Good health and hygiene are critical for a child's development. We conduct regular workshops and activities to instil healthy habits, ensuring that children understand the importance of cleanliness and self-care.
5. Connect with Parents and Updating Status and Support
We maintain strong connections with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the educational journey. This partnership ensures that children receive consistent support both at school and home.
6. Documentation and Governance to Get Admission to Government Schools
Our team assists families in obtaining the necessary documentation and navigating the process of enrolling their children in government schools. We believe that every child deserves a chance at formal education.
7. Continuous Follow-Up with Children Who Have Stopped Going to School
We are committed to ensuring that no child is left behind. Our team conducts regular follow-ups with children who have dropped out, working with families to address the barriers to education and encouraging them to return to school. We support and help on documentation to ensure that child is re-admitted to schools.
8. Providing a Platform to Perform Through Various Cultural Activities
We believe in nurturing the whole child. Our cultural programs provide children with opportunities to express themselves, build confidence, and discover their talents, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
9. Infrastructure Development
To support our growing programs, we plan to build and enhance infrastructure, including classrooms, transportation (E-rickshaws), medical centres, and digital learning facilities. This will ensure that our children have a safe and supportive environment to learn and grow.
10. Support Staff on Inventory Management and Cleanliness
Efficient inventory management and cleanliness are essential to our operations. With your support, we can hire additional staff to maintain our facilities and ensure a clean and organized learning environment.
