OUR APPEAL
Join Us in Empowering Youth Through Employment!
Today, many young people who have completed their 10th or 12th grades from government schools and are not enrolled in full-day colleges face significant challenges in securing jobs. These youth are often unemployed or underemployed due to inadequate education and a lack of necessary skills for the organized sector. This situation leaves them vulnerable to negative influences and traps them in a cycle of poverty, malnutrition, and ill health.
Unemployment doesn't just affect individuals, it impacts families, communities, and societies as a whole. ETASHA's #FightBerozgaari campaign aims to tackle this issue head-on by providing support, resources, and opportunities to those seeking employment.
Since 2006, ETASHA's interventions for young girls and boys from low-income communities are designed to address the concerns of the youth and help launch them on the path of employment, income generation, career growth, and progress. We believe that skilling the youth in market-relevant trades and employability skills along with attitude and mind-set change is critical for improving employment outcomes and higher productivity leading to faster and more sustainable economic growth.
We are proud of the tremendous success our trainees have achieved, thanks to the support of passionate and like-minded individuals. This year, we aim to train and place 1,200 young adults. To achieve this, we need to raise ₹1,20,00,000.
1 Youth = ₹10,000
1200 Youth = ₹1,20,00,000
Your contribution will help these youth acquire the skills needed to secure employment and support their families and communities, enabling them to lead better, more respectable lives.
Join us in the Vedanta Half Marathon 2024. Participate in this fun race with a purpose, and help illuminate the lives of thousands of youth who are seeking empowerment and opportunity.
Together, we can make a difference through your donations. Support us in our mission to give these young individuals the support and joy of securing their first jobs and starting their careers on the right foot.
